UPDATE as of 4:11pm     Water Restriction – Update #1 Nov. 2, 2015 (4:11p.m.)

The water restriction will remain in effect for the rest of Monday Nov 2nd, 2015 and for tomorrow Nov. 3rd, 2015. The contractor will be on site fixing the broken piping on Tuesday, Nov. 3rd. Temporary measures have been put into place within the plant to address any emergency issues that may arise in the interim. The water restriction is to aid in the conservation of treated water and reduce fatigue on the broken piping while the fix is being addressed. Thank you for your patience for abiding with the water restriction.

Due to a critical PVC piping break in the Hardisty Water Treatment Plant on Saturday, October 30th, 2015 the residents and commercial operators within our municipality are asked to please restrict their water usage for only hygiene and personal consumption purposes.  We ask that you please refrain from any unnecessary water usages until further notified.  We expect this to be fixed in a timely fashion however it is necessary to protect our stored treated water in the reservoir.  Washing of automobiles, equipment are considered unnecessary usages.  Laundry is requested to be kept to only necessary requirements and large cleaning projects are to be deferred until this repair has been completed.  Thank you for abiding by this temporary water restriction.
