Did you know that, in celebration of Canada's 150th centennial, the Town of Hardisty and the Hardisty Library have partnered to offer FREE library memberships to residents of the Town of Hardisty?

Today`s library isn't your grandparents' library - today, libraries are vibrant, active areas with more than just books and reading time with tots. Today, libraries provide residents with access to the Internet, computers, movies and television series on DVDs, books, ebooks, electronic magazines, access to local newspapers, and more.

As part of the Parkland Regional Library, the Hardisty Library is part of the largest regional library system in Alberta, and has access to resources well beyond its borders. Books can be ordered in from branches all over the province if it's not already here.

Your Hardisty Parkland Library Card also gives you privileges at other Parkland Regional Libraries, so no matter where you are, you can stop in at a library and enjoy.

So please, go get your free library membership today! (proof of residency may be required).
