Our prime focus as Council to provide governance and overall good government for the Community. Collectively we provide policy direction to our CAO whom in turn implements this direction into programs and services that benefit the ratepayers of Hardisty.

Council
The Town is governed by a mayor and six Councilors elected for a three year term.
The current term runs from October 2007 to October 2010.
The CAO administers policy direction from Council and directs staff accordingly.
Please note that Council meetings are open to the public. If you wish to speak to Council as a delegation, please contact our CAO, Alan Parkin at the Town Office the Wednesday prior to the meeting date below so that your information and time allocation can be placed in the agenda.
