Hardisty Social Club Happenings
The Hardisty Social Club meets at the Drop-In Center on Main Street across from the Manor. The following activities take place:
Friendship Bridge Club meets every Monday afternoon at 1 PM for an afternoon of Bridge. Doors open at 12:30 PM; play begins at 1 PM and usually lasts until 4:30 PM. Cost is $2.00 with coffee, tea and lunch included. The Club welcomes new players and will assist those interested in learning the game. Call Bev Schatz at 888-2166 or Beth Schmidt at 888-2222.
The Drop-In Center will be open on Wednesday afternoons from 2 - 4 PM for Cribbage, Whist, etc. A computer is available for computer games and instruction provided for those who wish to learn. Jigsaw puzzles and Board games are also available. Drop-In fee will be $2.00, which includes tea, coffee and cookies. All interested citizens are welcome. Pool tables are available downstairs at the Drop-In Center for those wishing to play. Players meet at 1 PM daily. Drop-In fee is only $1.00. Call Rod Frasier at 888-3843.
The Drop-In Center has been newly renovated and is available for rental. Cost per daily use is $40.00, which includes a meeting area and kitchen facility. Call Esther Johannesson at 888-3948 for bookings and information.
