Hardisty is serviced by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, with the nearest detachment being located in Killam. Killam is 43 km from Hardisty and is about a half-hour driving time at normal driving speeds.

Fire Rescue

Flagstaff Regional Emergency Services Society - Hardisty Station provides first responders for fire and recue services for the Town of Hardisty, Flagstaff County, and Mutual Aid to many neighboring facilities. The department is trained to fight structural, wild land, fires, and automotive. Members are also trained to provide motor vehicle rescue services as wall as medical aid calls. Our trained first responders are actively responding to calls dispatched through 911. The also hold regular training and department meeting nights the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month.
